The agreement between you and ReadyTrade.

1. What ReadyTrade is

ReadyTrade is an introduction service. We help you find tradies and we pass on your details when you choose to. We are not a party to any agreement you reach with a tradie, we do not set prices, we do not hold your money, and we do not carry out the work.

2. Quotes and prices

Any price a tradie gives through ReadyTrade is between you and them. We do not verify prices and we are not responsible for the work, its quality, its timing, or its cost.

3. Choosing a tradie

We rank tradies against your job and show you why. Ranking is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or a guarantee of anything. No tradie can pay for a better position.

4. Your details

Your contact details are released to a tradie only when you choose them, accept their quote, or when a tradie wins an urgent job you posted as urgent. For an urgent job, that access is time-limited.

5. Tradie obligations

Tradies are responsible for holding the licences, registrations and insurance their trade and state require. We record what tradies tell us and verify what we reasonably can. We do not guarantee it. Ask to see a licence before work starts.

6. Reviews

You may review a tradie you were introduced to, once per job. Reviews must be honest and about work actually done. We may remove reviews that are abusive, false, or not about the job.

7. Your account

Keep your phone number current — it is how you sign in. You can delete your account at any time from the app. Some records of introductions and reviews are kept in anonymised form, because they form part of another person’s trading history.

8. What we are not liable for

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from work carried out by a tradie found through ReadyTrade, from a tradie failing to attend, or from anything you agree with them directly. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. Continuing to use ReadyTrade after a change means accepting the updated version.
