What a complete profile is actually worth

Your profile is scored out of 100, and you need 55 before we put you in front of customers. Below that you are told precisely what is missing, rather than quietly never appearing and never learning why.

What makes up the first 65

Five things are what make you matchable at all: your business name, your trade, at least one service area, a contact method, and your ABN. Together they are 65 points. They are not achievements — they are the minimum needed to send you a job that could plausibly be yours.

What earns the rest

Seven things separate a thin profile from a good one, at five points each: a description, a logo, a second specialty, an extra service area, being verified, current insurance, and a current licence.

Two of those have a deliberate carve-out. Plenty of trades need no licence at all, so a missing licence never costs you anything — only a licence you have entered that has expired does. Insurance has no such exception.

Why the total is exactly 100 and stays there

The threshold to be matchable is expressed in the same units as the score. If the available points ever added up to 105, the bar would quietly drop for every tradie on the platform without anyone deciding to lower it. The total is asserted rather than trusted, which is how a well-meaning rebalance that pushed it to 105 got caught.

Completeness is worth less than the work

It is the smallest of the seven ranking factors, and that is on purpose. A polished profile should not beat a tradie who is closer, better suited to the job, and answers their phone. What it does is stop a customer having to choose between three businesses they know nothing about.

Filling it in is worth doing. It is not a substitute for being the right tradie for the job.
